Marinated Tofu with Garlic Sauce

[ts]
My two garlic sauces are too wonderful to keep all to the pork belly. Here they are again on some marinated tofu.

Marinated tofu is firm tofu marinated in some sort of five-spice flavor. It is usually sold labelled as "marinated tofu". Or, one can simply buy firm tofu to use. Trust me, you won't lack for flavor with these garlic sauces.

Simply slice the tofu, drizzle garlic sauce, and enjoy!

  1. Our blogs are matching with both tofu and garlic sauce today! Great minds think alike I guess :P

  2. I don't think I've ever had marinated tofu but now I'm curious. There's this thing in Japan where they ferment tofu covered in miso. It gets hard and salty like a cheese. I wonder if this is something similar...

    Of course!

Oh, these ones actually just taste like reguklar ol' firm tofu to me. There's stinky tofu that's left to "rot" (or ferment, hehe), but I have yet to eat those.

Actually, the tofu's not bad. ;)

  5. One pungent and heavily-tasting, another one plain. Combine them and a perfect balance. :D

With garlic + garlic action, one can't go wrong.
