Update: What's in the Works

The list below contains possible future posts in this our blog. Note that these are in the early planning stages, so they may or may not come to fruition.

1. PINOY-STYLE SPAGHETTI
Joseph posted a comment about Pinoy-style spaghetti, so we're trying to get a group make their respective versions of Pinoy-style spaghetti and post the recipes on this blog.

2. RAGU
As a good counter to Pinoy-style spaghetti, I am thinking of doing a couple of ragus for spaghetti or pasta. I'm leaning towards a lamb ragu and a beef ragu, doing both and comparing what it tastes like. I have a whole leg of lamb in the freezer that I can grind up for the lamb ragu.

The problem with a lamb ragu: nobody in our house eats lamb! Therefore, I'm thinking of doing a big batch and portioning it out and giving it to anybody who might want to try my ragu. Just leave a comment here and we'll get in touch.

3. SPAGHETTI AND MEATBALLS
For the same reason as #2. Can you tell I'm obsessed with pasta?

4. GRINDING MEAT FOR OUR BURGERS
Since I'm already thinking of grinding up that leg of lamb for a ragu, we might as well grind our own beef up for burgers. Grilling time is a-coming so I'm excited about burgers on a hot charcoal grill.

5. FRESH PASTA
For the ragu.

Um, I think this be all for now. We have lots of posts planned but they're still very rough. These ones are probably the most likely to bear fruit in the near future.

  1. I'll take some lamb ragu. With spaghetti na din if you're feeling extra generous. I'll get my big caldero ready. Joke lang.

    I will try and send you the Pinoy style spaghetti recipe. Ok ba to cheat a bit by using the Del Monte Pinoy Style Spaghetti sauce?
